Powerful organizations announce their entry into the OUST STRAUS effort.

Election night gave many of us reason to celebrate and believe we do indeed have an opportunity to take our country back! This was the first round in a heavy weight fight with no rules or predefined number of rounds. This battle will rage on until such time there is a decisive knockout of the competing principles; Marxism and Socialism verses the US Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

As you all know the battle regarding the Texas House Speaker is ongoing. Joe Straus is pulling out all his bag of tricks to win support prior to the next session. He is asking for "pledge cards" from OUR representatives in an effort to lock them in now. However, with the surprising number of new conservative House seats we won Tuesday night (23) all bets are off.

Just today, four powerful organizations announced their entry into the OUST STRAUS effort. Heritage Alliance, Numbers USA, IRCOT, and Empower Texans have all announced their support in ousting Straus and calling on our Representatives to elect a conservative Speaker of the Texas House.

The momentum is building and I would be willing to bet our current speaker is feeling the heat.

Your efforts have been noticed. More than ever before, you need to contact all the Representatives listed below. Each has been identified through a Straus press release that they have signed his pledge card. As I have shared with you all previously, and always in my speeches, these pledge cards are not worth the paper they are written on. Look for you local Rep's name and call them if you see them listed. We are winning the conservative battle nationally and we must win the battle here in Texas as well.

Call your representative and tell them we want a true conservative as our Speaker of The House. And, even more importantly, we want an accurate up or down vote in a Republican caucus to elect our next Speaker!

Liberty Institute fought a lawsuit to ensure our 1st Amendment rights are guaranteed in the selection of a House Speaker. Now it is up to us to exercise our rights and make our voices heard.

Breaking News: New Candidate Announcement For The Texas House Speakership.

Hello everyone,

Over the past six months, I along with numerous other activists across the state have been speaking to groups on the importance of replacing our current Texas House Speaker with a true conservative.

I have good news regarding our efforts. Earlier today an individual publicly announced his intention to run for the House Speakership.

He is Warren Chisum, a Republican from Pampa who has served in the House since 1989.

It appears our efforts are having an effect. This development is paramount in accomplishing our ultimate goal, as without a strong candidate opponent to Speaker Straus, we would have no chance of ensuring our Texas Republican platform would see the light of day this next session.

I encourage each of you to continue reaching out to our representatives and share with them your belief it is time for a leadership change and to vote in a true conservative Republican.

The liberal progressives are experiencing the "perfect storm" as of late and it is up to true conservatives to ensure the winds continue to blow at hurricane strength if we are to take back our country. The battle for our country is on many fronts, and as citizens, we must be prepared to take the fight to our opponents wherever and whenever our liberties and freedoms are threatened. This strategy of total engagement includes both Washington, DC and right here in our home state of Texas.

Straus loading deck at town halls with liberals and Democrats.

As a result of the recent 2010 census conducted by the Federal Government, there is an analysis for redistricting in process. Our current Texas House Speaker Joe Straus, is loading the deck with liberals and Democrats who are about to begin conducting town halls. These town halls are to be used for gathering data to support a strong showing for the Democrats when the redistricting plan is determined. The following cities and dates are where these town halls will be conducted. I strongly encourage you to attend and be vocal in an effort to neutralize the liberal effort to turn Texas Blue.

Thank you for taking the time to assist in this vital effort to ensure we replace our current Texas House Speaker Joe Straus with a true conservative.

This is a battle we as citizens can win, as Texas law now favors our political and civic rights to influence this key position. The effort is simple and will not require much of your time to have a strategic and powerful impact. Simply contact your representative and several other representatives and tell them you want our current Speaker Joe Straus to be replaced with a conservative Republican speaker.

There are four key Representatives who are "sitting on the fence". Be sure to contact them! Their names and numbers are listed to the right for your convenience. A phone call will help turn the tide in our effort to ensure we have a conservative Texas Speaker of the House. These Representatives need to hear from us! What should you say?

Ask for their position on this issue and let them know we as citizens will be watching their vote in January.

"Hello my name is *******. I would like to know how Representative ****** plans to vote on our next Speaker of the House. Please tell him I am very concerned about the direction of our country and Texas, and as a citizen I respectfully request he vote for a true conservative this upcoming session".

It would be helpful if you would notify me of their position, as we will continue to reach out to Representatives on the fence or planning to vote for Joe Straus.

Remember, Texas is a powerful state and what happens here will affect political issues and future national elections. The Democrats have identified Texas as a state in play and are allocating major resources to turn Texas Blue. We must be active and vigilant and insist we have true conservative representation this next legislative session.
