I stand for parental rights usurping governmental regulations and I stand for marriage as the legal union between a man and woman.

I believe that a man and a woman united in marriage is the cornerstone of human society. It promotes a healthy society promoting procreation thereby insuring the continuation of western society. History validates the importance of a one man one woman relationship in maintaining a healthy and prosperous society.

Parental Rights: Government has been eroding personal and parental rights to the point where a government agency or counselor can enter your home and take you children without your permission. This freedom eroding condition will ultimately lead to even further unacceptable government intrusion into our homes. Parents should have the ultimate decision and total authority regarding any decisions which affect the safety well being and happiness of their own children.

Education: Parents have a constitutional right to be informed and have a strong voice when legislation is proposed regarding their child’s education and curriculum. All legislation especially educational bills should be written in plain language and available on-line for parents and tax payers to review and comment on. It is my opinion any family that sends their children to private school or home schools their children should receive a tax credit on their property tax. It is unfair and inappropriate to tax at the same rate when educational services are not performed by the public school system.

Health and Human Services: I propose the public have the opportunity to vote on any new mandatory immunizations that are proposed by the government. We have seen in the past where the government will attempt to impose new health regulations on the public without proper scientific research to guarantee its safety. I believe safeguarding the rights of the parents and family is a legal and moral issue. Self determination substantiates the family unit and enables them to be self-governed.

If elected, I will support legislation that substantiates and increases a family’s right to self determination. I will fight any new government intrusion into the family whether from state or federal mandates.
